i am a small time gamer, and i have a dell dimension 3000, its video cards are limited by the fact that it can only take PCi video cards. will this video card work with my comp?

btw my computer monitor only has VGA slot (blue) it does not have the other slot (white). will the graphics on that card still work even without the white cable?

And yes it will. The white connect is a DVI connector...the card comes with an adapter that allows you to use a regular VGA screen...however u wont need it since the card has the VGA connector
