Does anyone know how to make a G4 display video on a PCI video card? Not its standard AGP card slot?
My problem is my stock AGP card died, and I have a near identical Radeon card that does work but is a PCI card. I removed the old AGP card and installed the PCI card and the computer boots up but does not display any picture...
Any ideas?|||You need a copy of the video card that is specific to a Mac. Mac OS is very picky on hardware and using a PC video card will not allow proper operation of the machine.|||/facepalm
You do realize that for the G4, Mac video cards and PC video cards are different, right?
