Would a newer highend video card with a PCI (Not PCI-E) interface perform better than a lowend AGP VideoCard?

The video cards in question would be:

ATI Radeon X1600 Pro (PCI Interface)

vs.

ATI Radeon 7000 (AGP Interface)|||The PCI will be MUCH faster in this case. There is also a Nvidia 9400 GT PCI card.

But there are much faster AGP cards like the Radeon 4650 and 4670, that are faster than the 9400 GT PCI

4650

4670

If you have a high resolution monitor (22" or greater), get the 4670 because it has GDDR3 memory, while the 4650 only has GDDR2|||agp is faster than standard pci.

the evolution of video buses went from isa > vesa > pci >agp > pcie
