I have window 7 but the video card i want to get is made for vista will it still work?

HIS H467PR1GH Radeon HD 4670 iSilence4 Video Card - 1GB GDDR3, PCI Express 2.0, CrossFireX Ready|||video cards from ATI are never made for a special operating system. ATI (AMD) is constantly working on the drivers for all of their video cards.

your problem might be simply that the provided driver on the CD you get is no more up to date or even obsolete.

in order to have and install the latest driver always get the newest from the ATI homepage

as you can see the latest driver for your graphics card is as well for Vista and W7. you have still to chose the right OS, either Windows 7 32bit or 64bit.|||I had Vista before installing Windows 7 and the Vista drivers for my graphics card (NVidia GT 8500) work. In the end though I decided to visit the NVidia site and found Windows 7 drivers for it along with stereo graphic drivers (3D). The Windows 7 drivers are better then the Vista drivers - not much better, but still better. I do not know how old you video card is but if it is no more than about 2 years old then you may find that there are Windows 7 drivers for it and they will be better than Vista, though the Vista drivers should still work.|||I've only come across ONE piece of hardware that works in Vista but not in Windows 7, and it's a Wireless G network card of a specific model. It's highly unlikely that a video card that works in Windows Vista would not work in Windows 7, given their similarities. Especially when dealing with companies such as HIS and ATI.|||I've read some reviews for people said it worked great, while other said they couldnt get it to work. I would guess it would work since Vista and 7 are similar. but go look and see if there are drivers for it for windows 7 yet. if there aren't, i wouldn't buy it.|||should work fine but you might need to get a driver-update off the manufacturers website|||You won't have a problem. Just install the driver for it.
