I have installed a pci PowerColor ATI radeon 9250 graphics card to my old PC but l receive no signal HELP!?

I have installed a pci PowerColor ATI radeon 9250 graphics card to my old PC but l receive no signal from card to monitor.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?( i have tried to change bios setting for Primary Video to PCI, but there is only 'auto' and 'onboard' option, so ihave selected auto)

My Pc Hardware:

Pentium II 233 MHz

196 MB RAM

Motherboard ACER ASPIRE 6000

Nec Dual Layer DVD Writer

Linksys wireless g network intrface card

Operating system:

Windows XP media center 2005 SP2|||You aren't getting any output because your old power supply doesn't have enough oomph to power that card, along with the rest of your system. Try unplugging all drives and all fans, and see if it has any output. If it doesn't, you've ruined the card while installing it, through static electricity. If it does, then you're gonna have to buy a larger power supply.

BTW, do you still have your monitor hooked up to your onboard video output, or to the new video card? I've actually seen that mistake made more than once.:-)|||You will have to disable the on-board video card in bios. Did you hit the inter key where is said auto and see if it gives you more options? There has to be a way to disable it. If you can't find it in bios then it must be a jumper on the mainboard itself.
