Sapphire ATI X1650Pro - 512MB AGP Video Card vs. GIGABYTE ATI Radeon HD4550 512MB DDR3 DVI/HDMI PCI-ExpressVid?

Ok im trying to see which one of these video cards would be best to use on a Hp pavilion 7965 to play world of warcraft.

*Sapphire cost: $66.99 but then i would have to buy a new battery pack 350 watt+ which would cost and extra $30

*GIGABYTE cost : $46.99 , idk what type of Battery pack i would need for Hp pavilion 7965 if you know can you tell me cause if i need a higher battery pack i will get 256MB GIGABYTE nVidia GeForce 6200 Video Card if it can work on my computer if you know answer that too plz :).

So which on do you think i should get for my HP Pavilion 7965?|||You CANNOT use the Radeon HD4550 at all. That card is a PCIExpress video card, and your Pavilion 7965 does NOT have a PCIExpress 16x slot to accomodate it.

The X1650Pro AGP should work in that Pavilion since the 7965 does have an AGP slot, but that is NOT a good choice.

The best and last AGP card ever made is the ATI Radeon HD3850 AGP. If you are going to do an AGP upgrade, that is the card you want. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLis…

Hope this helps.

EDITED TO ADD: The X1650 is two generations older than the HD3850. Consequently the X1650 is rather outdated and does not support DirectX10 or HDCP. The HD3850 is relatively recent and has DX10 and HDCP support. It's a no-brainer-- If you are going to upgrade an old AGP system, why not go for the last and best AGP card ever made? If you want anything more powerful, you'd have to buy a whole new PCIExpress system.|||sorry but i just bought one from my friend
