Which video card has better performance? GeForce GT 430 or integrated ATI Radeon™ HD 4290?

Hello fellows :)

I'd like you to help me to find the answer, Which graphic solution is more efficient and will give me better graphic performance?

GIGABYTE GeForce GT 430 OC 1 GB DDR3 PCI-E

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3611#sp

or

the one that is integrated into motherboard (GIGABYTE GA-890GPA-UD3H, Socket AM3, ATX)

ATI Radeon™ HD 4290 ?

I am not a gamer, but I do use professional graphic editors and I do want them to perform faster though.

I'm really hoping for your wise advices and thank you in advance :)

Artur|||Nvidia Gt 430 main feature:

Graphic clock 700Mhz

Processor Clock 1400Mhz

memory clock 800-900 Mhz(DDR3)

Max Digital Resloution 2560*1600

Max VGA resolution 2048*1536

Connectivity HDMI/VGA/Dual Link DVI

Radeon HD 4290

Graphic Clock 700 Mhz

Memory Clock 667 Mhz

Resolution

Vga Resolution 2048x15361

Display Resolution 2560x16001

Both of them have compartively equal in performance but ATI Radeon have less price then Nvidia. So i suggest ATI for value for Money.

From Cybergeekshop - Online Technical Support Team|||hi artur, gigabyte is a good motherboard so let's go into graphics for it let me give you an example the best you can get is a radeon 4870 plus a Nvidia geforce 9800gtx this is the best on the market. so your ati radeon hd4290 is right on the money. now the Nvidia geforce 9800gtx is a must and this is to keep your computer cooler so even if you are not a gamer it is still a good idea. the NVIDIA keeps your computer cool while the radeon gives killer graphics. and who knows you might add those graphics to your mobo and you become a confirmed gamer. lol good luck hope i was helpful to you|||The GT 430 would be vastly superior to the on board 4290...that said...knowing you want better graphics for high end art work you would want a video card that will give you the best rendering... which in essence puts it closer to the "gaming" type cards. I wouldn't go with anything less than a GTS or GTX card like a GTX 550Ti
