Better to buy a new video card or save up for new system?

eMachines T3506

Intel Celeron D Processor 352

3.20GHz

553 MHz FSB

512 KB L2 Cache

Video

ATI Radeon Xpress 200 with available PCI-express slot

Hard Drive (not so important - its enugh for me)

120GB

Memory

880MB DDR SDRAM (its supposed to be one gig but its shared)

Video Memory

Um since total is 1024MB then means its possible 144MB or 128MB, i dunno :S

If i buy a new video card, ill have 1gig ram FULL instead of 880MB and I might get more video ram too. Plus it will be cheaper. Since my system is pretty good for me and entertainment/gaming i think i dont need a newer one and just a video card will make it good. What do you think? Save up for new comp or buy a video card?|||Guess you'll have to do what's right for you. I'd save up for a new machine, personally. Best to you. ;-)=|||personally i dont even like emachines. seems like most of your hardware, like your processor (i like p4 dual core), your memory (DDR2 SO much faster) is outdated and old. Unless you want a fast machine for hard-core gaming or productivity, i'd say just save up for a vid card, its cheaper and your pocket wouldnt suffer as much|||i think it would be better to go out and the spend the extra money to get a machine that already haas all the componets you want, it sounds like to me that your running a very slow computer with a VERY small hard drive.|||save up for a new system, i have a pentium 4 2.4ghz with 512RAM and an ATI Radeon 9250 and i absolutely cant stand how slow it is.
