ATI Radeon HD 4850 PCI-E 16X 512MB good video card?

Thinking of getting the Mega Special IV on CyberPowerPc.com I can get system with this card for under $1k Ive always bought Dell. 4 desktops and just ordered a laptop. Was going to get the XPS 630 or 730 for my son who loves to play games like wow and has warhammer but current computer wont do right on that. Was suggested to go to this site to buy custom build and it all looks good. Warranty/free shipping. But just want to make sure on this video card. Thanks|||That card is very solid. It's not the top of the line...but it's close. It has a very good price to performance ratio. Check out these links that rate and compare nVidia and Radeon ATi cards. It's clear that they are very positive on the performance of that card for it's price.

EDIT: That card will easily play WoW and Warhammer and then some. I would NOT think twice about purchasing that card because of the price to performance ratio.|||It's an average card but nothing special in today's world. I would contact the Company you are considering and tell them what you want to do with the computer and add a little for the future. If they truly custom build they will know what you need.|||That video card is great. I have one myself. It would cost you $1500+ to get a Dell PC with a card as good as this one. It will not only max out those games with 50+ frames per second, but will also run any other game on the market at max.

Don't listen to the first answer. You should definitely get that PC. And only buy laptops from Dell. Their Desktops are ripoffs.|||From range of piece of nothing, extreme bad, bad, below average, average, above average. nice, extremely nice, excellent, I would rate it nice/extremely nice.
