Would a Saphire ATI Radeon Hd 5770 vaper x be a good Video card?

I have a Dell XPS 8300 Desktop with a quad 2.5 proc, with 4gb of ram. would the video card be a good one for my computer?im a serious gamer, and have a budget. im trying to get as much answers as i can.

video card.. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sapphire+-+ATI+Radeon+5770+1GB+GDDR5+PCI-Express+Graphics+Card/9972047.p?id=1218202943889&skuId=9972047&st=radeon%205770&cp=1&lp=1|||Sheesh, $200 for a 5770? They're $100 brand new on Newegg; I put one in my source! Yes, it would be good for any games out there when run on medium details though.

Other cards that are faster and still less than $150: Radeon HD 6790, Radeon HD 6850, Radeon HD 6870; GeForce GTS 450, GTX 460, GTX 550.

For any of these video cards, make sure your power supply is no less than 400 Watts. If it's under 400, then you're looking at a power supply upgrade, too. Corsair and Antec are always the two brands that I recommend to people upgrading their video cards due to their reliability and stability.

In response to Joel: there is no such thing as a computer "built" for one video card or another. If you have a PCI-E x16 slot (and you do) then any video card that fits will work.|||I have had the best luck with Nvidia cards. In my experience they blow the other graphic cards out of the water especially the new ones. However, your system seems like it was specially built for the ATI Radeon cards. Look up your motherboard specs and see if it can support Nvidia cards because that's what I would get, but to run current games your system should be more than sufficient for many years.|||GPU buyers guide
