Hey guys, just bought a new video card for my computer, but it seems not to be working. I uninstalled my old video card and its driver, but when i installed the new one in, nothing shows up on my monitor (its equivalent to the monitor being shut off). the video card is working cause i see the fan moving, and i also updated my motherboards driver and bios and what not..... but it sill doesnt show anything on my monitor. so i thought maybe it could just be my hardware not compatible with this new video card. So i posted the specs of my comp here........... plz help!
(also, my old video card was sapphire ati radeon 2600xt, and my power supply is 700w, the new video card said it needs 400w)

We really don't need that info. :)
If a video card fits in a motherboard, it works on that motherboard.
What you might want to check is that the monitor is plugged in to the video card, not to any on-board video port. Also check that the monitor is plugged in to the power outlet and is turned on. Basic troubleshooting step, I know.
Failing that, be sure that the video card is powered from your PSU. It should have a power jack for a 6 or 8 pin power connector.
