Does using a video card with HDMI rather than PCI make a difference for gaming?

The video card i got was a SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100283VXL Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…

I plan on using an HDMI cable since it has an HDMI port but i was just curious if this will make a difference compared to using the PCI port when it comes to gaming, or does HDMI only effect things like movies and tv?|||Output of HDMI port is digital video plus audio. Output of DVI port is also digital video but NO audio. Output of VGA is ANALOG video only.

The card you bought has no VGA port, so would probably use a DVI to VGA adapter if you plan to use a VGA monitor. VGA resolution could be limited and may may not reach the high resolution that the card supports for digital output. Difference between digital and analog display is not so noticeable at low to moderate resolution.
