Which of the following graphics cards are better? Nvidia Geforce MX 400 64mb, or ATI Radeon X300 PCI Express?

I don't know much about computers and want to know which of the following graphics cards are better : Nvidia Geforce MX 400 64mb video card, or ATI Radeon X300 PCI Express, OR, Nivida Geforce fx 5200 128mb. I'm thinking of purchasing a computer but I have no idea which one of the 3 computers I have in mind has the best graphics card to play games.|||The ATI Radeon is the best of what you mentioned.

If you purchase a computer, it will have either an (OLD) AGP slot or a PCIe slot. The NVidia cards you referenced are both AGP. The ATI card is PCIe. Be sure you get a card that fits your motherboard. New motherboards are 80% PCIe. The other 20% have no video card slot and rely on IGP (integrated graphics processor) instead of a video card. To be honest, an embedded ATI or NVidia IGP would be about as good as the cards you mentioned.

If you want to play games, I would suggest a better graphics card. Head over to Tomshardware and check out the performance scores to get an idea of what to expect with video cards. There is a good article on what card to buy at each price range.|||they all are horrible. i´d say get a nvidia 8600 or more for good gaming and directx 10 capabilities for games that´ll come out using that.|||My choice is ..........> ATI Radeon X300 PCI Express <........

Compare to Nvidia Geforce MX 400 64mb its better quality and easy supportin and more future....We use PCI Express ,,,its working good.........|||If you playing games, modern games, then none of these.

If your just messing on old games, the X300, dont bother with the other ones, X600 or X700 + are good cards to look as well if your on a budget
