Is it possible to change the video card on a laptop?

Is it even possible? I can't believe that I bought this thing 2 months ago and it is obsolete already. Here what it tells me. Is there anything I can do?

Minimum: 64 MB DirectX 9.0c compatible video card (NVIDIA GeForce4 or greater; ATI Radeon 8500 or greater (Radeon 9200 and 9250 PCI not supported). Laptop versions of these chipsets may work but are not supported.)

You Have: Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family (Intel(R) Calistoga Graphics Controller) FAIL: Sorry, your video card does not meet this minimum requirement.

Video Card Features - Minimum attributes of your Video Card Video RAM: Required - 64 MB , You have - 128.0 MB

Video Card 3D Acceleration: Required - Yes , You have - Yes

Vertex Shader Ver.: Required - 1.1 , You have - 0.0

Pixel Shader Ver.: Required - 1.3 , You have - 2.0|||your chipset has an integrated graphics card, you need a discrete graphics card, your computer was never became obsolete, because it was obsolete from the beginning|||Normally, you can only upgrade within the model line (For instance, on a Dell Inspiron 8500, you could upgrade from a base ATI Radeon 9000, to a GeForce 4200 32MB, or even up to a 64 MB GeForce 4200, but it HAD to be for that particular laptop series). Video cards in laptops are almost always proprietary.

It sounds to me like your machine uses graphics built into the chipset. It is very likely you will be unable to upgrade.

If you include your laptop make and model it might be easier to help out.
