On dell support i found that i am able to buy video cards in the 4000 series with pci?

i have some ati radeon video cards that say HD4650, and 4350 which are in the 4000 series. can i buy any ati radeon video card that has (pci) or do i stick within the 4000 series.|||be advised though , if you are going to get a higher end video card that you might need to replace the power supply also. high end vid cards use quite a bit more power and some have extra power connections which your power supply might not have|||no, you can buy any PCI-E 16x graphics card.

You can put any of the current graphics cards from ATI and Nvidia in your pc. Of course, your power supply does limit what can be run.

Don't buy from Dell though. If you are thinking of buying another graphics card, then buy one from an actual computer store or website. The reason for this is that Dell normally cost alot more.|||If they said pci then you can buy any pci card either geforce or ati/amd. pci express video cards are not compatible with pci slots so do not buy one if you do not have a pci express slot.
